Dedicated to the memory of Alun Walton
This site is a tribute to Alun, who was born in Llanfrechfa, Cwmbran on June 30, 1947. He is much loved and will always be remembered.
It is with great sadness we write this to let you know that Alun Walton much loved husband, devoted father & Pa passed away on Thursday 7th May 2020. Not everyone may know, but he had been diagnosed with an incurable brain disease in February. He had been terribly unwell in recent weeks after bravely undergoing treatment. He was taken from us much quicker than we expected.
Alun was so lucky to have had so many fabulous lifelong friends & happy memories of playing in various bands over the years. He was a lovely, kind, witty & fun loving character (a real gent) who will be greatly missed.
He is now at peace with loved ones & friends, looking down on us playing his guitar, enjoying a beer & telling wicked jokes.
We would very much like friends & family members to share happy memories & stories x
